The Mafoota Agricultural Co-operative Society Ltd (Co-operative) is a registered community-based non-governmental organization located in Mafoota, St. James.
The organization supports the development of farmers in Mafoota, St. James through training in climate-smart agricultural techniques, technological expansion and creation, and sustainability of markets to improve livelihoods and food security.
The mission of the Mafoota Agricultural Co-operative Society Limited is to increase production, producing the best quality vegetables in Western Jamaica in an environmentally sustainable manner and to facilitate better marketing through a more motivated and collective group structure resulting in a better standard of living.

The vision of the Mafoota Agricultural Co-operative is “to be a premier sustainable vegetable production and marketing Co-operative that provides economic opportunities and an improved standard of living for farmers in Western Jamaica.”
